Payout Policy
Last Updated: [Insert Date]
This Payout Policy (“Policy”) governs how influencers, partners, and account holders (“you,” “your,” or “users”) receive earnings generated through the Dottable Inc. (“Dottable,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) platform.
By using Dottable and connecting your account with Stripe Connect, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Revenue Share
Dottable retains 30% of all revenue generated through the platform (e.g., listings, featured placements, sponsorships).
The remaining 70% of revenue is allocated to your account, less processing and payment fees.
2. Payment Processor (Stripe Connect)
All payouts are processed via Stripe Connect.
To receive payouts, you must create and maintain a valid Stripe account connected to your Dottable account.
By using Stripe, you agree to Stripe’s own Terms of Service and policies.
3. Fees & Deductions
The following deductions apply to all payouts:
Platform Fee: 30% revenue share retained by Dottable.
Processing Fee: A 3.5% processing fee is applied to all transactions.
Stripe Fees: Stripe may charge additional fees, including but not limited to:
Standard transaction fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in North America, but varies by country).
Currency conversion or cross-border fees (usually 1–2%).
Instant payout fees (if selected).
Dispute/chargeback fees.
👉 Exact Stripe fees depend on your account type, transaction volume, and location. You are responsible for all Stripe-related fees deducted from payouts.
4. Payout Schedule
Payouts are initiated on a [weekly/bi-weekly/monthly — you choose] basis.
Payouts may take 7–14 business days to appear in your bank account, depending on your bank and country.
Delays may occur due to Stripe’s verification process, fraud checks, or other compliance requirements.
5. Minimum Payout Threshold
The minimum payout threshold is $50 CAD/USD (adjustable depending on your setup).
Balances below this amount will roll over until the threshold is met.
6. Disputes & Chargebacks
In the event of a customer dispute or chargeback, Stripe may withhold or reverse payouts.
You are responsible for any associated chargeback fees charged by Stripe.
Dottable may also offset disputed amounts against future payouts until resolved.
7. Taxes
You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes (e.g., income tax, VAT, GST/HST) arising from your payouts.
Dottable does not provide tax advice. Please consult a tax professional.
8. Account Compliance
Payouts may be delayed, withheld, or cancelled if:
Your Stripe account is unverified or restricted.
Fraudulent, suspicious, or illegal activity is detected.
You violate Dottable’s Terms of Service or policies.
